Hotel Engel – Self-Check-In-Hotel (EKG Hotel AG)

1. Scope and Conclusion of Contract

These General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to the accommodation in hotel rooms of Hotel Engel, including the breakfast included in the room price.

Other services, events, or additional services are not offered and do not form part of the contract.

The accommodation contract is concluded by:

• an online booking via the hotel's own booking platform or

• a booking via a third-party provider (e.g., online travel portals),
  in each case with automatic booking confirmation.

By completing the booking, the guest accepts these T&Cs as binding.
If the booking is made by a third party, they shall be jointly and severally liable together with the guest for all obligations arising from the accommodation contract.

2. Self-Check-In / No Reception

Hotel Engel is operated as a pure self-check-in hotel without a physical reception.

Access to the hotel and the rooms is exclusively via digital access systems and self-check-in terminals. The guest is obliged to treat access data, codes, or digital keys with care and confidentiality.

There is no personal reception available.

3. Room Usage Period

• Check-In: from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival

• Check-Out: until 11:00 AM on the day of departure

An earlier check-in or later check-out cannot be guaranteed and does not constitute an entitlement. A later check-out is only possible with prior consent of the hotel and subject to any additional fees.

4. Terms of Payment

All bookings must be paid in full before arrival.
Check-in is only possible after payment has been completed.

For bookings via third-party providers, their respective payment and cancellation conditions also apply.

5. Cancellations and No-Shows

Individual bookings of up to 10 rooms

• Up to 14 days before arrival: free cancellation

• From 14 days before arrival: 50% of the booking amount

• From 7 days before arrival: 100% of the booking amount

• No-show or early departure: 100% of the booking amount

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.

The hotel is entitled to cancel bookings or terminate stays without notice if the stay endangers the safe operation of the hotel, violates statutory provisions or these T&Cs, or if false information was provided.
A refund is excluded in these cases.
